SUNSHINE ACADEMY

In 2004, the Florida Legislature enacted legislation to implement the Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) Education Program.

According To Florida Statute, Chapter 1002, each child who resides in this state who will have attained the age of 4 years on or before September 1 of the school year is eligible for the Voluntary Prekindergarten Education Program during that school year.

The VPK Program is State Funded, Therefore, Free Of Charge For Parents.

The VPK Program Is A 3 Hour / Day Program That Provides Students With The Education & Skills That They Will Need To Not Only Be Successful In Kindergarten, But In The Rest Of Their Educational Life.

At Sunshine Academy. We Offer A Number Of Programs That Revolve Around VPK.

VPK Only - Morning Or Afternoon Sessions

Wraparound VPK- For Parents That Wish To Enroll Their Children Before or After The VPK Program.
