A comprehensive toddler program should be supportive and responsive to each childs individual needs. The Sunshine Academy program ensures your childs safety and health through extensive training and up to date policies & procedures throughout our daily routines.

We aim to develop partnerships with families, therefore the learning process does not end inside the school's walls. By means of observations and documentation, we can pinpoint your child's development in an effort to plan for each child's developmental needs.

As a child approaches two years of age, their increased language skills allow them to regulate their emotions and communicate with each other. Toddlers continue to express their emotions and feelings, which, in turn, helps them make choices. It is up to the partnership between parents and teachers to ensure that the choices our students make are positive ones.

 At Sunshine Academy, we provide many  variations of experiences for children. We allow them time to practice newfound skills and develop positive relationships with one another.
