Infant Development

The care, education and experiences that infants, toddlers, and twos receive during the first three years of life, have a very powerful influence on how they perceive or view the world, how they relate to others as individuals and ultimately, their ability to succeed as learners.

It is during the first 3 years that chidren are most vulnerable making it the most crucial period of their life. Initially, Infants are completely dependant upon adults to meet their needs. This is the main reason why your program of choice must be nurturing, consistent and loving.

It is imperative for our staff to build a trusting relationship with each child within our program. It is only then that your child can begin to flourish. Once the trust is established, children will begin to explore the environment that is created for them. One step...or scoot at a time, your child will begin to make certain discoveries, begin to care and appreciate others, and begin to exhibit signs of becoming a lifelong learner.
